About the Gainfield Gala
Dear Family & Friends of Gainfield,
Our 2nd Annual Gainfield Gala Dinner Dance and Auction Fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 29th, 2008 at the Heritage Hotel. Mark your calendars!
In order to make this year’s Gala successful, we rely on the many generous contributors who donate goods and services which are auctioned and raffled off the evening of the event. The Southbury community and surrounding area businesses, the Gainfield students and staff as well as the Gainfield parents have all graciously supported this event last year and we look forward to their continued support.
A group of volunteers have been working with local merchants collecting donated goods and services. Plans for classroom art projects and auction baskets are in the works as well. Now, I am asking for your help. If you have something you would like to donate, I would love to hear from you. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards the purchase of additional interactive SMART Boards for the classrooms. The cost associated with the purchase of 10 boards including electrical services is approximately $25,000.00.
In addition, this year we are printing Gala program books for all those in attendance. The books will not only include the agenda for the evening but advertisements from local merchants. We already have received many ads and we want to extend this opportunity to you. If you work for a business or if you own a business and would like to advertise in our program book, please contact me for further information. We are offering 1/4 page, 1/2 page and full page ads. Don't miss out on this great opportunity.
